Description This is for an Original Grenfell mat ca early 1900's of a goose flying over the ocean. It is circular in shape and approximately 8 1/8" in diameter. It is a beautiful mat, completely done in rich shades of blue, brown, and green.  Comparison of the colors on the front and reverse (photos #2 and #3) indicates no or little fading. There is some edge wear, visible primarily between 3:00 and 5:00 on the front (photo #2) or 7:00 and 9:00 on the reverse (photo #3). It is relatively minor, but if you have to have mint, I suggest passing on this one. It is signed "Grenfell Labrador Industries, Hand-made in Newfoundland and Labrador".  A very attractive little mat. USPS shipping via priority mail to the lower 48 is $6. Insurance is extra.
